Here are some Pie in a Jar treats I made for Carter's teachers. I got the idea at ourbestbites.com. I love that site! So many yummy recipes. Of course most of them are not healthy! I used my own recipe for the apple filling that has 3 kinds of apples and a splash of vanilla! I also used my own awesome pie crust recipe. YUMMY! The stamps on the tag are from Paper Trey Ink.

Riley entered this art piece he did into an art show. This fish is done completely with dots. There were 2 levels Superior and Excellent. He got Superior which earned him a medal. WE are very proud of him. THe art show was on April 30th.

2011 Prom

This is Riley's junior prom and Sami's senior prom. It rained most of the day. It stopped right about the time the Grand March was going on. It was also cold. We really weren't able to get nice outdoor pictures like last year.

Fingerprint Necklaces

Here are the necklaces that my daycare kids did for their moms. I made the cord adjustable so they could wear them any length. You can't see it but there is ridge detail on them. It showed up better for the older kids.

Here are a couple of mini albums I made for my cousin who is having twin girls! I made these exactly the same except for the name, of course, and the tag on the last page is different on each one. I used the Chick A Dee SEI paper pack. I used my Bind it all to put it together.

Here is the card I made for Carter's Nerf Dart Gun birthday. I designed the dart on SCAL using the Crillee Font which is just like the Nerf font. I made his name like the Nerf Logo.

Here is a tutu I made for my niece for Christmas. I also made a puffy hairpiece she could wear with it. She loves to dance so I hope she enjoys it! Just a little update. My niece did love the tutu. Not only did she wear it but her unicorn pillow pet wore it too. She put the hairpiece on the unicorns horn.

Star Wars Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my nephews Star Wars themed birthday. I used an SVG file from http://www.mardenz.blogspot.com/ (THANK YOU MARY!) She has some awesome designs! I then used my Cricut and SCAL to cut it. It was a little tricky to get the setting just right for my paper as well as getting all those pieces out but I like the way it turned out and my nephew liked it too!

Here is an advent calendar I made. This is a file available for purchase at SVGcuts.com. I donated this for a silent auction that was a benefit for someone who's home was damaged by a fire last month. I also donated 2 dozen Christmas tags. All of the doors pop open to put little treats or gifts in. It is about 3/4" deep.

Here is a card I made for a friend of ours who was in the hospital for surgery to remove a tumor from his lung. He is doing well now. It is hard to see in the picture but I put gauze under the center to look like a real bandaid.

Here is the wedding card I made for my cousin to go with her etched glassware. It is brown and cream, the colors of her invite. I know it looks black in the picture. I used Mini Monograms for the circle and scalloped circle. I used Jubilee for the W to match the glassware.

Riley's Get Well card.

Well Riley managed to cut his fingers on his left hand. He ended up with 12 stitches on the middle 3 fingers and his thumb. However on his pinky finger he cut through the tendon as well so he went in for surgery yesterday. He is doing well after surgery. He is home and is in some pain but that is to be expected. I had to whip up this card really fast so it isn't embossed or chalked and has no bling. I know it could have benefited from it but I had to make do. Thank goodness the Just Because cartridge made it easy to make a fast card without much thought.

Etched Glassware

My cousin is getting married at the end of August and she asked for this 4 piece baking set. I decided I would etch her new last name on them so if she did travel with them to get togethers she would always know which one was hers. There is one more 8x8 dish that is not pictured, but it really doesn't look any different from the other 2 rectangular pieces. I also bought a bowl because I wanted to do more than just the baking dishes. I only did the initial with a circle for something different. I used the Jubilee font for this.

Graduation Gift

Here is a gift I made for a graduation. I used their school colors. I didn't over do it as I knew that the graduate, being a boy, really wouldn't care about how it looked on the outside...it's what is inside that counts! LOL! I used Alphalicious for the font and the grad cap came off of Locker Talk. The tag is a Creative Memories punch. The tassel came from the Dollar Tree. I stuffed it with money and candy.

Teacher gifts

Here are the teacher gifts this year. The cards went to Carter's speech teacher and small group teacher. I added a homemade bar of soap to the cards. (you can see the soap in the picture below). I used Doodlecharms for the apple and Fabulous Finds for the tag.

These are the goodies I added to the 2 liter bottles below. I altered a mini composition book, made magnets using my cuttlebug, altered a pen and added other goodies. I also added a poem that Carter signed, which I did not take a picture of.
Here are the 2 liter bottles filled with goodies! The butterfly was cut from the Wild Saffron paper stack by K and Co. I bent the wings up to make them look 3-D. The tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I cut the leaf from the center of the tag using Design Studio. The leaf is from Straight From the Nest. The thank you cut is from Lyrical Letters.

Here is Carter's Lego cupcakes. I made lego candies using candy wafers and a lego ice cube tray. Carter made his own lego decorations for the table. Carter's birthday was January 21st.
